Homeless Paws; Manahawkin, NJ: ADOPTED! Zipp!
Zipp is eight months old and quite a cutie. He hasn't had as much handling as is ideal, so he's a bit shy, but being young he can perk right up quickly (with an older piggy it might take longer). Zipp needs a buddy, so if you have a spayed female or a lonely boar, think of Zipp!

LISTING REMOVED New City, Rockland County: Pig of unknown sex (Boy or Girl? ) being rehomed. Very friendly and familiar with children. Being rehomed due to change in home circumstances and other pets. She is two years old and black and white (they say a pic should be posted to the ad soon). Reasonable rehoming fee for pig as well as cage, water bottle hidey home, and food. Email for more details. Could do Friday pickup at garage sale--make sure you're ready!
LISTING REMOVED Mastic Beach (Long Island), NY: Moo Moo is a cuddly guinea guy being rehomed due to a new kitten in the home. Small rehoming fee for piggie, food, hay, treats, bedding, water bottle, dish, "and his favorite little house." He is also being offered with a tank, but GUINEA PIG LESSON: tanks are not adequate housing for guinea pigs. They do not offer proper air circulation and the air can become toxic. This: Cheaper, Larger Cages is a great link for this ad. I also can't in good consciousness recommend Kay-tee products when Oxbow is available for purchase.
LISTING REMOVED Cortland, NY: Two guinea girls, both abbies, one red and one black. Both one year old. Socialized to children and used to handling. Come with their cage (try Cheaper, Larger Cages) and other accessories

LISTING REMOVED Jackson, NJ: Calico guinea girl on the smaller side needs a new home. Born September of last year. Present owner hopes for her to go to her a home with at least an older child, an ideally another guinea pig. Reasonable rehoming fee, can also purchase cage. See ad for more details. Cabbage Patch pig!
LISTING REMOVED Monmouth County, NJ: Friendly and tame guinea girl below one year of age available for adoption with cage. Only available for pick up.
LISTING REMOVED Browns Mills, NJ: Sad and happy story here. With assistance, poster rescued a short haired young guinea pig from a drainage ditch where someone had let him go. The guinea pig is very friendly. They are screening potential homes and there is a reasonable adoption fee for this lucky guy. GUINEA PIG MYTH: Some people think that because guinea pigs' ancestors, capybaras, survive in the outdoors, that they too are suited to survive outside. Guinea pigs are incapable of generating of vitamin C on their own, and are preyed on by other animals, two of just many reasons why they should be housed indoors.
