NO LONGER AVAILABLE Ridge (Long Island), NY: Multiple pairs of long haired guinea pigs being rehomed due to children losing interest. They are all about 1.5 years old.
NO LONGER AVAILABLE Irondequoit (Rochester), NY: Three month old female crested guinea pig being rehomed with cage, water bottle,
vitamins for her water (DON'T use these), food dish, pigloo, bedding, timothy hay, treats (research on GuineaLynx to see if they're okay) and playpen. Pig is "nice and lovable" and is well socialized to people. Being rehomed because cats won't leave her alone.
LISTING REMOVED Lima, NY: Two females (
PREGNANCY WATCH) and one male being rehomed due to health problems on part of poster. Sociable and used to children. Come with cages, all accessories (including hidey homes, any food and bedding). Females (mother and daughter) must be adopted together as are bonded, male can be adopted separately.
NO LONGER AVAILABLE Westchester, NY: Marvin is a 2.5 year old male guinea pig who needs a new home, as his family has been relocated because of a house fire. Terrible situation for all involved. Comes with a cage, but I would recommend
Cheaper, Larger Cages.NO LONGER AVAILABLE White Plains (Westchester), NY: Three female guinea pigs being rehomed due to an out of country move. One guinea pig is orange and white, 9 mos. old. One is mainly black, some white hairs, 2.5 y.o. One is orange and white, 5 y.o. :( . The average life span of a guinea pig is 5-7 years, though they can live as long as 9 y.o. + . The poster is willing to separate them, but I think it would be a wonderful deed to take them all.
Many sad accidents or "accidents" can be avoided this way. *
