WITH A RESCUE! Queens, NY: My son rescued this guinea pig the other night while on the job. My son found it on the grass in front of the emergency room of one of the hospitals he transported a patient too. It was a rainy night so he, and his partner put it in a box, and brought it to me.
I cannot keep this little critter, and I am looking for a home for it. I do not know the sex, or age. What I can tell you is that it appears to be healthy, it is black with a white stripe down the center of it's face. Can you guys help me find it a home?

I would honestly love to keep it, but I cannot in all honesty afford another pet. We currently have 3 dogs, 2 cats, 3 s/w aquariums, and a turtle. As you can see we already have a full house.

Please help me find this poor baby a home ASAP, as it is currently in a tinyyyyyyyy 20 gallon fish tank.

The adorable boy is three or four years old, and is a sweetheart. He begs at the side of his cage for his morning hay (the refill of the unlimited amount), and is just absolutely adorable. Look at that face! He needs a bit of work with handling, but is calm once you've got him.


The adorable, sweet girl is two or three years old. She is looking for a forever home, ideally one with adults. She likes her hidey home and can be a bit shy, but is vocal once in your arms (she likes to purr). She never bites but is hard to catch (like most pigs). These two are such adorable pigs! They aren't bonded.

PREGNANCY ALERT--guinea pigs are sexually fertile at three weeks. The two females (and the mother) are possibly pregnant if they have been housed with the male guinea pig.

Male comes with cage and accessories for reasonable rehoming fee. Very sweet and loves to be cuddled. Females are bonded and must be adopted together. They are very sweet but haven't been cuddled as much as the boy. They are black, white and brown short hairs.

The one with the all black head is male, the other two babies pictured are the females.

Our beautiful guinea model is a beloved guinea girl from GuineaLynx named MeiMei. Her person is a beloved GuineaLynx member named Cutemomomi. MeiMei has passed over the Rainbow Bridge, but she will never be forgotten. North Jersey Guinea Pig and Hamster Rescue; Budd Lake, NJ: Herd Update!

Cici and Sammy are bonded girls who were given up due to to "severe respiratory allergies." Poor people who had to give up these piggies! Cici is eight months old and an orange and white red-eye american/abby mix. Sammi is a four month old black american.



Nibbles and Pebbles are pretty four month old american girls who were surrendered to the rescue because their owners developed skin and respiratory allergies to the piggies. How sad for everyone involved! Nibbles is light brown and white, while Pebbles is dark brown and white, and "they have very silky shiny coats." You can also purchase their almost new 60" by 30" light blue C&C cage from the owner (the rescuer can put you in contact with her).

PA-Judge's Park-Bonded Survivor Sows!

Judge's Park; Edinburg, PA: ADOPTED! Anna and ADOPTED! River!

Anna is in foster care. She was born approximately in June 2007 . "This is one sweet little baby." Anna and cagemate River were found in a box on the edge of a river in the middle of the winter. The poor pair were just left to die, but Judge's Park took them in. Anna is a sweet girl who doesn't mind being picked up at all. The rescue thinks she might be pregnant, and so she is not leaving until she has her babies sometimes around May 15th. JP will be accepting applications for these miracle girls until that time. Anna's eyes do look more white than normal, but they are perfectly healthy--she just looks a bit perpetually surprised!



The rescue thinks that River was born in December 2007, and that she is Anna's daughter. River is calm once you pick her up, but it takes some patience to get her there! She can be skittish and hasn't had handling before then. You've stolen her heart though if you have food. She is very personable though, and food really is the way to her heart. She's a healthy girl who's on pregnancy watch.

They will need many more supplies, like a pigloo to hide in, unlimited hay, pellets, bedding, something comfy like a cuddle cup (Pampering your Pig), etc.
