NY-Lollypop Farm in Fairport-four pigs

I would like to take a second to really reiterate that this blog is not intended to be used for br33ding, hoarding, bunching, or collecting. These homeless pets have had terrible lives, some of them have been starved, neglected, back br3d over and over. They deserve amazing treatment. They deserve homes that are not beyond pushing themselves too far. Are all your pigs in proper sized cages? With fresh water and food? Unlimited hay and quality pellets? Are the cages cleaned regularly? Are the pigs getting vet care, or have you budgeted for vet care? If the answer is no to any of these, please take a look at your own pigs first, and help them. Sometimes the pigs in need are those in our own homes. Remember other people are out there helping. You need not fight the homeless animal population on your own. Take care of those in your own home first, and know your limits. And any br33ders or bunchers that come here--I hate what you do. I'd probably hate you. Leave homeless animals alone. Your actions already contribute enough to the cause.

* DON'T BR33D OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE! *

Now, on to the latest Lollypop Guild members. Again, they prove adorable.

LISTINGS REMOVED. Miss Piggy is a beautiful two year old abby sow. Oh her fur looks so soft!

LISTING REMOVED. Moose is one of the prettiest guinea pigs I've ever seen. He is a one year old male. The name Moose is perfect for him!

LISTINGS REMOVED. Larry and Rodney are a gorgeous bonded duo. These boys are both a year and a half old. Larry is on the left and Rodney is on the right. They're both kings!

LISTING REMOVED. Monroeville, NJ: This poster lists not just one, but two of the classic reasons for rehoming guinea pigs. One, her children have lost interest, two, she's just had a new baby. Now the piggy, "Piglet," needs a new household that will care about him. Piglet is a year and half old, calico, and comes with a cage, food, and accessories. This piggy needs a long-term thinking adopter.

LISTING REMOVED. New Paltz, NY: One amazing sounding guinea pig available for adoption. First off, he's named Buster, which is what our foster boy (turned out to be a girl, now named Sara) was named. If all Busters are the same, this piggy will be a sweetheart. He has black, white and brown long hair, and the posting describes him as young. Buster is affectionate and energetic, and is not a biter (were he, there are guinea-safe ways of trying to check this habit). He comes with cage and accessories, and is being rehomed due to living situation.

UPDATE: This piggy has also been listed at GPAN.

POST DELETED. Boothwyn (near Philadelphia), PA: two guinea pigs, sex not specified, need a new home. The poster's son is allergic so the guineas have to go. They're one year old--one is tan, one is multi-colored. They come with their cages. Do a pregnancy watch with these two. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst, etc.
