PA-Judge's Park-young sow

Judge's Park, PA: ADOPTED! Maggie!

Maggie in one sentence, "A sweet little energetic baby, very friendly with loads of potential to be another guinea pig's buddy." Four months old. Very laid back and sweet. Submissive girl who needs to live with girls who won't take advantage of her pliant nature. Likes to be held, easy to pick up and cuddle, and is very vocal and adorable. Must live with another pig, could work well with a neutered male or any female.

NY-Craigslist-Multiple Listings

* If responding to a Craigslist ad meet in a public place, or go with a friend. Google the phone number of the poster to
ensure it matches the name he or she gives *

LISTING REMOVED. Albany, NY: One guinea pig is male, one is female, the poster will not allow them to go to the same home as they are not fixed. The poster has brought them back to health from a sad state. Small adoption fee. Male is nine months old and a bit scared "but will overcome it." Female is one year old and familiar with children, used to being held, socialized with people. Poster is fostering them.

LISTING REMOVED Medford (Long Island), NY: Questionable, frustrating ad. Two female guinea pigs. The story is that they adopted one guinea pig and didn't know she was pregnant. Both guinea pigs are a year old (wouldn't one be younger? What with needing time for a gestation period and all?). And why isn't the poster returning the pig to the place the pigs were adopted from? Or I'm misinterpreting it and one is an adopted pig and the other pig is from another source. Then what happened to the babies? Anyway, anyway. "Very good pets. Love to be held."

LISTING REMOVED Long Island, NY: Will trade guinea pig cage, guinea pig, and accessories for a fish tank and accessories. Rehoming due to allergies.

LISTINGS REMOVED. Stony Brook, NY: Smokey the guinea pig (black and white) is available for adoption, and comes with his new adoption. Being rehomed because he was purchased as a birthday gift for the poster's son, but the kid is never home to "enjoy it." I bet the guinea pig isn't too crazy about that arrangement either!

LISTING REMOVED Spencerport (near Rochester), NY: Tricolor male guinea pig available for adoption (gray, brown and white). Less than one year old. Being rehomed because owner is leaving for long term military training. This post makes me sad on a lot of levels :(

LISTING REMOVED. Syracuse, NY: Very cute black guinea pig girl available for adoption because children have lost interest. Comes with cage and accessories. Age unknown.
