Charleston, WV: I've bemoaned this ad before, but it's been reposted. That means this guinea pig hasn't been picked up and is still being housed on TOXIC CEDAR BEDDING. Someone please adopt him and get him on Aspen, Kiln dried pine, Carefresh, or Boxo bedding. Read more about bedding here: Bedding. The pellets are also wrong, they shouldn't have any colored pieces or corn in them. Get this boy some Oxbow or Kleenmama's pellets and some HAY! (Is that what they mean by chew grass?) Get him a Cheaper, Larger Cage. Get him a nice loving home! Look how cute!

* AAGP recommends quarantining any new guinea pigs
for 2-3 weeks and confirming the sex yourself.
Many sad accidents or "accidents" can be avoided this way. *

LISTING REMOVED S. Ozone Park (Queens), NY: Sweet female guinea pig just under a year old being rehomed due to not enough time. "Super friendly," has never bit anyone, comes with too small cage (Cheaper, Larger Cages), water bottles, food dish. GUINEA PIG LESSON: Her food should not have any colored pieces in it. That's like feeding constant junk food. She doesn't get the required nutrients. Brands like Kaytee (especially fiesta) and Heartz aren't as high quality as Oxbow or Kleenmama's.

LISTING REMOVED Bridgeport (Fairfield), NY: Guinea pig being rehomed with cage. The guinea pig's sex is not identified ( Boy or Girl?), and the cage is too small (Cheaper, Larger Cages ).

LISTING REMOVED Brooklyn, NY: Very friendly guinea pig being rehomed, as he was given as a gift and the recipient did not appreciate the gesture. The guinea pig is light brown/white, and comes with cage and food. Sex not identified ( Boy or Girl?). GUINEA PIG LESSON: This is why not to give animals as gifts! They are the ones who wind up suffering. Especially considering the lax screening process... :(
