PA-Have-a-Heart Guinea Pig Rescue

NOTE: DUE TO TIME CONSTRAINTS AND THE LARGE NUMBER OF HAVE A HEART GUINEA PIGS, HAH ENTRIES WILL NO LONGER BE RETROACTIVELY UPDATED. MY APOLOGIES FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE THIS CAUSES. THE HAH WEBSITE WILL OFFER THE MOST UP TO DATE INFORMATION.

Time for a much belated update on PA Have-A-Heart guineas.

The latest new kids are GrayBee, Chalie and Palimino, a trio of baby boys. who were dumped at the animal shelter when they were no longer wanted. All three are pink eyed white abbies who are used to being around dogs and cats. They don't yet have a picture, but I bet they'll be cute!

Becky and Sesame are probably my two favorite PA HAH guineas now that Smores has been adopted. I think they are both so beautiful. These girls will most likely be available on Dec. 17th, as they are on a pregnancy watch. They were dumped at a shelter when they were no longer wanted (?!), and are used to dogs and cats.

ADOPTED! Hoss is a very cute, very lucky young boy. He came to the rescue from a local feed store, where he was being offered "fr33 to a good home." This is probably one of the few instances where the guinea pig did wind up in a good home! He is an abby/peruvian mix who is used to dogs, kids, and cats.

LISTING REMOVED--> Patches and Petunia are two pretty young gals who have been in the rescue since June. These girls are ready for a forever home! They came to the rescue from the local animal shelter. These two look like such cute, sweet cavies.

NJ-North Jersey Guinea Pig and Hamster Rescue

Due to increased time commitments, I am no longer going to be able to update past entries of some of the larger rescues such as Have-A-Heart and NJGPHR. Once a week or so I will update the herd of the respective rescues.

Ti
me to feature more North Jersey Guinea Pig and Hamster Rescue piggies!

ADOPTED! Xander is a new piggy who doesn't yet have a photo up. He was abandoned at the local shelter, and on November 17th the rescue picked him up. He is a handsome one year old agouti American boy. I will update when his picture is posted, but beat me to it and adopt him!

Ushi is a cutie. His name is Japanese for cow. He is six months old and adorable. He hopes to be adopted with his friend Avery, who I featured previously. Two adorable boys already bonded? Sounds like a good arrangement.

ADOPTED! Spanky is a large bouncing baby boy. He is six weeks old and was surrendered to the rescue because his owners were allergic to him. He hopes to be adopted with his friend Nicky, who I actually don't see on the petlist...do some snooping if you're crazy about this guy.

I think it's more than the soft 70s photo quality that makes ADOPTED! Miranda beautiful. She is one of the prettiest pigs on Petfinder, in my opinion. She is an eight month old who has been in the rescue since late September, and came to the rescue from a city shelter. And this dear girl is expecting! She will be ready for adoption after her delivery and the babies grow a bit older. The rescue anticipates she'll be available for adoption Dec. 1st, but that date is subject to change. She is compatible with other pigs.

ADOPTED! Ziegfield (Ziggy) & ADOPTED! Ignatius G. Pig & Max & Tina & ADOPTED! Becky & ADOPTED! Mina & ADOPTED! Avery & Ushi & Robby & ADOPTED! Logan and Xavier & Nicky II & ADOPTED! Spanky & Fernando & Gandolf & Aragorn & ADOPTED! Lucinda & ADOPTED! Miranda & ADOPTED! Sophia & ADOPTED! Versace & ADOPTED! Giorgio & ADOPTED! Gucci & ADOPTED! Daisy & ADOPTED! Rocky and Henry & ADOPTED! Xander.

Let's Give Thanks! (SCROLL DOWN FOR NEW PIGS)

My pigs enjoying their T-day meal

I'd like to take a moment to say thank you to all of the rescues and shelters I have listed in the past month. Please consider thanking them as well. Whether it be an email of admiration, a monetary/financial donation, or scheduling to volunteer, the people behind these links are heroes to animals and adopters. When available, I'm going to link to a donation page which will link to info on financial donations, material donations, and donations of your time. Anything you can do to help will be a help. In the hopes that someone will see this and send a thank you, I want to say my appreciation to you. Thank you for helping homeless animals and the people who care for them daily.

My tip is to pick either your local rescue/shelter, or the rescue/shelter which houses your favorite guinea pig(s), and send them a thank you, in whatever form. Let's Give Thanks!

WV-HillHaven Animal Sanctuary Rescue

HillHaven Animal Sanctuary Rescue in Anmoore, WV is a private sanctuary for all types of animals. Have any extra scoopable cat litter? Send it to them; they're always in need. They're also in need of adopters for the two beautiful girls in their care.

Gabby and Gidget are great guinea pigs who like carrots (feed only sparingly) and fresh veggies (it's so sad when a guinea doesn't) and wheek away during supper time. The beautiful (one crested) girls are looking for a forever home!
