PA-SPCA of Luzerne County-Two Boars

The SPCA of Luzerne County has a cute new boar named ADOPTED! Buddy. He is a very friendly four year old boy who was given up to the shelter because his family could no longer care for him. He is used to cats as well as older kids. He is such a sweetie boy!

I asked about his eye over on GuineaLynx, because I was worried it might be pea-eye (if you notice it looks a bit sunken), and was told by a medical expert there that it might be, but if it's not red or irritated there's no need to worry. I don't mean to offer this as medical advice, just wanted to give any potential adopters my own concerns, then relief. Here's more information on guinea pig eyes from Guinea Lynx.

ETA: While I was posting that, SPCA of Luzerne County added another boy! His name is ADOPTED! Lenny. He is a young, curious, and active guinea pig who is very personable. Lenny was given up because his family was moving and could not take him with them. He is a wonderful pig who would bless any adopter with his presence. And he's cute too!
