Locations appearing in this post:

Troy (near Albany), Greece (near Rochester) x2, Le Roy (near Rochester).

LISTING REMOVED. Three guinea pigs and an English Angora rabbit being offered on Craigslist for small adoption fees in Troy, NY. Being rehomed due to moving. GP1 is a 3 y.o. brown and white sow currently living in a small animal tank. Guinea pig no no: They should never be housed in tanks or aquariums; the air circulation is very poor and can dramatically affect the guinea pig's health. GP2 is an 8 month old calico guinea pig girl, spayed. GP3 is a long haired (cream and white) boar. The picture below is of GP1.

LISTING REMOVED. Here is a guinea no-no listing in Greece, NY. They're being offered for a dollar, which is far too little. Lucky and Rodney are being dumped with their cage and water bottle. They're beautiful. That cage is far too small-it should be a guinea pig cage in a dollhouse.

LISTING REMOVED. Two month old boar in Greece, NY only given a few weeks before being dumped because he's too much responsibility. They got the guinea pig for their four year old daughter, and are surprised they're doing all the caretaking. I bet their daughter is somewhere wearing a pair of pants for a shirt. He is active and "looks like the Chris Rock guinea pig from Dr. Doolittle." Comes with cage, harness to WALK HIM WHAT? I was typing it without reading. Well if they're trying to give the guinea pig walks each day no wonder he's too much work. Maybe this couple is brother and sister. Also comes with water tank (don't take it, get a water bottle), food bowl, hanging bed, food and shavings (?). They're probably unknowingly taking care of a puppy.

LISTING REMOVED. Three guinea pigs need new home ASAP, Le Roy, NY. Six month old sow, different shades of brown. "Albino" male (guinea pigs aren't ever albinos, they're actually Pink Eyed Whites [PEW]) is two-three months old, son of the first guinea pig. Oh cripes, that's an early pregnancy. The dad is orange and white, red eyes. All very lovable, have never bitten. Come with cage, water bottle and food dish. Someone please get these guinea pigs and split them up/alter them, this is a baby making factory waiting to happen.
