PA-Judge's Park-new piggie girl

Judge's Park, in Edinburg, PA, has a new pig available for adoption from the horrific MA hoarder situation. Just as a reminder, this was 150 guinea pigs living in a shed, br33ding and dying all in incredibly inadequate conditions. Judge's Park is one of the rescues that jumped to aid the shelter where these pigs were surrendered (hint hint, there's donation info on their website!).

Introducing ADOPTED! Shadow, a pretty young American sow. When Shadow first arrived at the rescue, she was covered in lice--a hard circumstance both for Shadow and the people who had to see her in such pain. She has now completed her quarantine and is mite and lice fr33. Because of her early upbringing she can be a bit skittish, but I imagine this could be overcome with careful love in a forever home. She does like to be held and is surprisingly calm.

An interesting factoid about Shadow is that she is one of those rare pigs that would work as an only piggie. As her bio points out, this means she will be more bonded with whoever adopts her!
