LISTING REMOVED Astoria, NY: Two year old guinea pig (referred to as "he" and "it" going to link to Boy or Girl?) being rehomed due to move. "He loves to play and likes company." Comes with a too small cage (Cheaper, Larger Cages), new bag of food (shouldn't have any colored pieces, seeds, or corn), bedding, water bottle, food bowl.

GUINEA PIG LESSON: Guinea pigs absolutely need an UNLIMITED quantity of high quality of hay, such as Oxbow or Kleenmama's (Kaytee's is often inferior quality--try your local feed store, though it's a gamble). It is necessary to wear down their constantly growing teeth and to help aid their digestive processes. Remember, not just as a treat, but unlimited hay is the way to go! ALSO-whatever Bedding you choose (not cedar or plain pine), there should be about an inch of it covering the cage bottom. ALSO-They need a place to hide, like an igloo or pigloo. They're prey animals and so they need to feel safe. You can also provide a towel tent. Learn more by reading the Guinea Lynx General Care Guide.

* AAGP recommends quarantining any new guinea pigs
for 2-3 weeks and confirming the sex yourself.
Many sad accidents or "accidents" can be avoided this way. *
