NJ-North Jersey Guinea Pig and Hamster Rescue

Due to increased time commitments, I am no longer going to be able to update past entries of some of the larger rescues such as Have-A-Heart and NJGPHR. Once a week or so I will update the herd of the respective rescues.

Some brand spanken' new guinea pigs from North Jersey Guinea Pig and Hamster Rescue!

Two new girls don't have photos yet, so I'm going to feature their bios, then the bios of two guinea pigs with pictures. As always, all the guinea pigs in the rescue are listed at the bottom.

Lucy sounds beautiful. She is a large two and a half year old girl, who is white with black patches around her eye. I really like this quote from her bio, "she is bold and confidant." Lucy would be best paired with her daughter Ethel, another friend in the rescue, or a submissive piggie girl you may have waiting for a friend at home.


ADOPTED! Ethel was given up with her mother, Lucy, because of a child's worsening asthma. She is a year and a half old and very beautiful. She is a tri-color abby girl. Ethel can either be paired with her mother, a friend in the rescue, or a lonely piggy girl waiting at home.


Gandolf and Pumpkin are probably the cutest father and son team I've ever seen. Gandolf is an adult, exact age unknown. Pumpkin was born on Halloween in the rescue. Gandolf was dropped off at the shelter because he was no longer wanted. Once again, the world doesn't make sense.


ADOPTED! Xander is a relatively new addition to this rescue. He is a good looking one year old agouti male who was dropped off at the shelter because he was no longer wanted. Since being in the rescue he has bonded with Fernando, and the two hope to be adopted together.
