NY-Hi-Tor Animal Care Center-two adorable adult guinea pigs

Hi-Tor Animal Care Center; Pomona, NY: Nobikko and Patches the Piggie!

These two are both such winners!

Nobikko is a three year old crested male who can give a good stink eye to the camera. Don't let that deceive you! He's a friendly guy.

Patches the Piggie is a beautiful, friendly three year old abby female. She was actually brought in with Nobikko and they come with separate cages. GUINEA PIG LESSON: PtP is being housed on a wire cage, so I've got to give my bumblefoot warning. Always house your guinea pig on a smooth-bottomed cage to protect their feet.

* AAGP recommends quarantining any new guinea pigs
for 2-3 weeks and confirming the sex yourself.
Many sad accidents or "accidents" can be avoided this way. *
