Lollypop Guild has a new member--maybe? LISTING REMOVED. Clover is also the name of a guinea pig who was there a bit ago, who had a similar description. Well, this Clover is a two years and one month old tri-color boar. His primary color is brown, and knowing this shelter he will be adorable.NY-Craigslist-two girls
LISTING REMOVED. Bloomingburg, NY: Mom and daughter guinea pigs being rehomed due to allergies. I wonder if this is the first of the Christmas rehomings. Reasonable rehoming fee includes cage, food, vitamins, hay, bedding, water bottles, food bowls. Girls described as lovable (but not loved, apparently).PA-Piggie Lovers Inc. Guinea Pig Rescue-four new pigs!
ADOPTED! Fudolou and Fudzmo are two adorable bonded short hair brother. Fudolou (amazing name) is the older brother of the two, and they are both around four to six months old. He is the blonder of the two boys, though they are both blonde, white and brown cavies.

Fudolou and Fudzmo are both dear vocal boys who love attention, and will crawl up to the side of the cage to make sure you notice them. Fudzmo is one of those amazing pigs who climbs up on top of the pigloo for a better view.
These boys get along great with other piggie boys, so if you have a lonely boar at home, consider this bonded pair! Or you can start a herd yourself with Fuolou and Fudzmo.ADOPTED! Gabriella and Gertrude are two chubby, friendly and healthy bonded adult sows. These girls love to eat, wheek, and get attention.

The poor girls came to the rescue after they were dropped off at a person's house in a box. They are now living it up in a C&C cage, which they share with other gals. The two girls get along great with other piggies, and are fond of people as well.

Gabriella (Gabby) is the black, white and blonde short hair, and Gertrude is the dark blonde and white short hair. They are both absolutely beautiful!

PA-Craigslist-Boar
POST DELETED. Manayunk, PA: Well this sounds like a crappy situation. The roommate moved out and left her guinea pig (why couldn't it have been jewelery, electronics, a hot boy who was flawed in some dangerously attractive way?), who was just bought in July (of 2007). Poor boy. Now the other roommate is left to rehome him. he comes with a cage, hay bin, and pigloo, and is "friendly and does not bite." Contact the poster for more information.PA-Craigslist-two bonded boars
LISTING REMOVED. Pittsburgh, PA: Two bonded boars (get along well) are being rehomed for a small adoption fee. They are just over a year old and are both good natured. One is a bit more nervous about being held, but at just one year + old, there's plenty of time to soothe this boy. They come with all of their supplies, which include a cage, carrier, food and treats. Don't forget the hay!NJ-North Jersey Guinea Pig Rescue-Silver and Gold piggies
Hey, North Jersey Guinea Pig Rescue has two new pigs! And to celebrate, I'm going to post two of the pigs who have been with them for a while as well. Below the entry is the full list of NJGPR pigs.
ADOPTED! Cocoa is a new pig with NJGPR, and so her picture isn't up yet. She is described, however, as "a pretty one year old dark brown and orange American." Poor Cocoa was given up because her owner moved into an apartment where she can't have pets. Cocoa can be adopted as a friend for the lonely female piggie you may have at home, or she can be adopted with a friend in the rescue.NickyII is my boar for the day! He is a striking chocolate agouti and white American piggie. Nicky II wound up at the rescue because his family didn't have time for him. Poor boy! The rescue describes him active, but gentle and friendly. They say he can adopted alone or as a friend for a male piggie. He sounds so sweet though! It seems like he'd make an excellent friend for a lonely boar.

ADOPTED! Patty is another one year old piggie. She is a very sweet white American crested piggie girl with beige spots. It sounds like she was given up by the same person as Cocoa, or at least another person moving in to an apartment that does not allow pets. Like Cocoa, she can be paired with a piggie girl who you may already have at home, or a piggie friend she's made in the rescue.Tina is a beautiful three year old American crested piggie girl. Tina, as well as her mother and four sisters, were given up by a man who had personal difficulties which prevents him from continuing to care for the pigs. Tina is one of those dominant piggies, so she would be paired best with a baby piggie girl.

PA-Craigslist-Three Sows
ADOPTED! Philadelphia, PA: Not much info here. Small rehoming fee for three girls, not specified whether they must got together or can be separated. The blonde pig and the tri-color pig are five months old, and the golden crested piggie is three months old.

NJ-Craigslist-two boars
LISTING REMOVED. Lakewood, NJ: Hopefully these guinea pigs are safe right now, either with a respondent or with the poster. I doubt it. Their bedding looks questionable, only one water bottle, no hay, pellet feed is crap. Oh and the adoption fee is too low. Ugh. They come with their cage, pigloo, toy, water bottle and bowl. Guy's thumb not included.Tuesday, December 25, 2007
PA-Have-A-Heart Guinea Pig Rescue
Pennsylvania is not to be out done! Here is a new PA Have-A-Heart piggie, as well as three pigs who have been waiting for homes for quite a while.
Willow is a young black and blonde Abby girl who is used to being around cats and dogs. She won't be available until Valentine's Day of 2008 because she's on pregnancy watch. Adopting her would be such a gift of love all around! This sentence from her bio makes me so sad " Willow came into the rescue on 12/19/07 when her owners no longer wanted her." If you think you'd like to adopter her but have an intact male at home, why not consider donating toward her spay?
Buster and Benji--these poor boys! They were adopted and then returned to the rescue in mid-November of 2007. Their adopter "didn't feel they warmed up to her quick enough." Guinea pigs aren't creatures that quickly bond to their person, like dogs or cats. Generally they bond to other guineas, and at best will tolerate you giving them chinnies. 75% of the time they think you're a giant bird who tried to cut their nails. Seriously, you love them, and hope they gush on you back, but don't expect it.Plus their first two weeks they're petrified. Anyway, the two boys must be adopted together. They are very good guinea pigs who are about a year and a half old. Benji is the tri-color abby, and Buster is a black and white American. Can't adopt? Why not donate toward their neuters?

These poor guys will have been in the rescue a year on the 29th, to no fault of their own. They were given up because their child decided he didn't want them anymore. Don't give your kids pets who live longer than their attention spans. Charlie and Johnnie are used to being around kids, dogs and cats. Charlie is two years and nine months old, and is the black and white American. Johnnie is the rust and white American who is four years and two months old.

Turbo is such a cute boy! I cropped his photo because he's on the counter next to an oven, and that just made me feel weird inside. But I would bet Turbo's a pretty calm guy if he's willing to pose there! He is a young boy who has been in the rescue since mid-May of this year. He is a cutie-pie brown agouti, rust and white American, and has become used to dogs and cats since entering the rescue. If you can't adopt Turbo, why not consider donating toward his neuter?

NJ-Have-a-Heart Guinea Pig Rescue
Merry Christmas to applicable parties! To everyone else, I hope you have an awesome day. I'm sorry everything's closed. So, since I'm taking a temporary hiatus on posting CL ads, I can feature a great bunch of Have-A-Heart Guinea Pig Rescue pigs. Here's the deal: they're a network of foster homes in DE, NJ, and PA. They're always looking for more foster homes. And below are all of their new pigs without pictures, a few pigs who have been around for a bit, and then a list of all NJ pigs.
Alvin is a cute two and a half year old boar who was given up because of allergies. Alvin is used to dogs and cats (and daredevil adventure, I would guess from his name). He is a brown agouti and white Crested American mix (ooh, crested!). Alvin, though he may not like it, is accepting donations toward his neuter.
Buttercup and Brownie are two girls who need a foster home (loving, permanent homes also being accepted). They joined the rescue on December 22nd because their owners could no longer care for them. Buttercup is a cute tri color American, and Brownie is a lovely sounding brown agouti, rust and white American. They're both about eight months old, and are used to dogs and cats.
Peppi is the adoptive mother to Piper and Pammy and they must be adopted together. Peppi came to the rescue on April Fools day, 2007, because her owner could no longer care for her. Peppi's cagemate passed away after giving birth (20% of birthing sows will not make it through), and so Peppi stepped up wonderfully as mom. Peppi is a brown agouti and white American.

The babies, born on April 20th of 2007, are both tri-color Americans. If you aren't able to adopt, why not consider donating toward their spays?

Al is a small young boar who arrived at the rescue in late December because his familly no longer could care for him. This adorable rust and white American needs a foster home. He is a year old, and used to kids, dogs, and cats. Can't adopt or foster? Consider making a donation toward his neuter.
Lovey and Cottonball are former herd-mates of Al. The girls must be adopted together. They will become available for adoption in mid-February because Lovey is on pregnancy watch. Like Al, the two girls are used to kids, dogs and cats. Lovey is a one year old cute brown agouti, rust and white American girl. Cottonball was born on December 15th, and she is a tri-color American, and I'm sure quite cute. If you've wanted to foster for a baby, here's your chance! They're looking for a foster home while they wait out the pregnancy watch. If you can't foster or adopt, consider making a donation toward their spays. Their long term health and the animal overpopulation problem will thank you!
Bandit and Big Daddy are a bonded pair, so they must be adopted together. The boys have been in the rescue since mid-April. They were dropped off at the local shelter because they were no longer wanted by their owners. But Bandit is a super hero!

The pair is used to being around kids, dogs, and cats. Bandit was three weeks old when he joined the rescue, and he is the black, blonde, and white American. Big Daddy is his poppa, and is the blonde, lemon agouti and white American. If you can't adopt them, why not considering donating toward their neuters?

LISTING REMOVED. Starlet is another piggie in need of a foster home. her bio doesn't say much, but she sounds beautiful. She is a silver agouti and white American mix--so elegant! She's used to being around dogs and cats. If you can't adopt or foster her, why not consider donating toward her spay? Then she can be paired with either boars or sows, which will greatly increase her chances of adoption.
Duke and Spongebob are two bonded boys who have the totally crappy experience of being adopted and then returned, due to no fault of their own (their owner needed surgery). Both pigs are used to cats, dogs, and kids. Duke is about six months old and is a a cute black and white (ooh) abby. Spongebob is three months old and is a cute black and white American (ooh). Both boys are begrudgingly accepting donations toward their neuters.Peppi, Piper, and Pammy -- Bandit and Big Daddy -- Harley and Edwin -- CRUELTY CASE LANCASTER -- LISTING REMOVED--> Mae and Nelissa -- Squeek and Mouser -- Toby and Felix -- LISTING REMOVED--> Liz and Freida -- LISTING REMOVED--> Sam -- Snowflake -- Tyson -- Abigal, Spatz, Junie -- Felice and Gucci -- Squash, Blossom, and Penelope -- Alice, Betsy and Claire -- LISTING REMOVED--> Q-Tip and Cupcake -- Speedy and Rocket -- Violet -- LISTING REMOVED--> Snickers and Skittles -- Twila and Drizzle -- Moona -- LISTING REMOVED--> Hershey and Kisses -- LISTING REMOVED--> Harley -- Levi -- Lionel -- Ritchie -- Maxine and Juliet -- Peanut and Butter -- Dorothy and Mia -- LISTING REMOVED--> Rootie, Levi, and Bocelli -- LISTING REMOVED--> Slash -- Ebby, Farina, and Sally -- Squidwird -- Piper -- LISTING REMOVED--> Harvest -- Autumn, Squash, and Acorn -- Doze -- Maurey, Slugger, and Korey -- Gingersnap andTigera -- Moby -- Aden and Bane -- Trooper -- Jitterbug -- ADOPTED!--> Eclair and Creampuff -- Diaz -- BigBoy -- Sylvia, Wheels, Whippet, and Whiskers -- Hunter and Tumbles -- LISTING REMOVED--> Tuxedo, Cider and Patience -- Ralph -- Bubbles and Rose -- LISTING REMOVED--> Peter and Carmel -- Leah and RoxyDoodle -- Laverne and Shirly -- BeeBee -- Nola -- Pepper -- Santa and Claus -- Cheech, Bonus, Pardo, and Gizzy -- Treetop, Holly, and Mistletoe -- Poinsettia -- Jolene -- Doozer and Jake -- Alex and Grover -- ADOPTED!--> Sweetie Pie -- Janet and Chrissy -- Ginny, Nutcracker, Brownbear and Wolverina -- Toodle, Maze and May -- Puff and Deamo -- LISTING REMOVED--> Cousin It -- Tribble -- ADOPTED!--> Abby and Flower -- LISTING REMOVED--> Nellie2 -- LISTING REMOVED--> Moe -- LISTING REMOVED--> Rusty -- Alvin -- Buttercup and Brownie -- Al -- Lovey and Cottonball -- LISTING REMOVED-->
